I am so grateful for insurance (although our provider is a pain. I've had to appeal all my ultrasounds, my contacts, and even the pediatrician visits. Yes, we're switching!). I know medical expenses are ridiculous, but I thought the delivery charge would maybe be ~$20K. Any guesses how much the bill was?

Wow, that is crazy. Jordan and I are also very grateful for insurance. We never really found out how much it was for Cambria's delivery as well as her surgery and 5 1/2 week in the hospital. But we were told her TPN was 2000 a bag and she went through at least 4 a day. So just that alone was 304,000 for her stay. I guessed it was at least 500,000. Insurance truly is a blessing even though it can e a pain working some of the agents.

wow! i live in canada and had our two boys in the hospital - i totally take it for granted. crazy crazy crazy hospital bill!! i love your blog and am enjoying seeing your family blossom.
